What is Medical Office Technology?
The degree is designed to prepare students for positions as medical transcriptionists, medical secretaries, medical file clerks, medical receptionists, or medical office assistants. Strong emphasis is placed on medical terminology and medical machine transcription. In addition to these skills, office communications, business computer applications, records management, accounting, and office procedures are emphasized.
