What is Hotel & Restaurant Management Technology?
The Hotel and Restaurant Management concentration provides specialized occupational instruction in all phases of hotel and restaurant management to prepare students for careers as managers/supervisors in the hospitality and tourism industry. Successful completion of the two-year program leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree. Students who complete the Hotel and Restaurant Management Technology program are eligible to obtain Pro-Management Certification from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation or certifications from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Lodging Association in Specialized Food and Beverage Management and/or Hospitality Operations.
