Sophomores on the 2009 East Central Community College football squad were recognized prior to the season finale with Pearl River Community College Oct. 22 on the Decatur campus. The honorees were joined by parents and other family members for the special presentation. ECCC fell 30-27 in overtime to the visiting Wildcats and finished 2-7 overall and 0-6 in the MACJC South Division under interim head coach Brian Anderson.
