East Central Community College’s soccer teams are still looking for their first season victories after being swept by East Mississippi Community College squads Tuesday in Decatur.
The Lady Soccer Warriors were blanked 3-0 and the Soccer Warriors fell 7-3.
Ranikka Ware scored two goals and Nikeisha Noel also tallied for the Lady Lions who improved to 2-0-1. The EC women are 0-2.
In the men’s contest, Alex Galistel, a product of Northeast Lauderdale, and Bass Price of Neshoba Central scored for EC, which fell to 0-3.
East Mississippi, which improved to 3-0, was led by Eduardo Fumo, Taylor Chisolm and Leonardo Reyes, who scored two goals each. Josh Shields also tallied.
East Central hosts Northwest Mississippi Community College Saturday, Sept. 5. Women’s action begins at 1 p.m. followed by the men’s contest at 3 p.m.
