The East Central Community College Ac’cents show choir will present its fall campus concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 3, in Vickers Fine Arts Auditorium on the Decatur campus. The public is invited and there is no charge for admission.
Ac’cents director Vicki Blaylock said of the upcoming performance, “This year’s Ac’cents take the stage with members that are not only solo entertainers in their own right, but blend with the entire group vocally. They bring lots of experience and showmanship that promises to make for an exciting night of song and dance.”
The popular group will present such hits as “Rock This Town” by Stray Cats, “Man in the Mirror” by Michael Jackson, “We Belong” by Pat Benatar, “Reeling in the Years” by Steely Dan and “September” by Earth, Wind and Fire.
Ac’cents members and their respective high schools include Casey Rowzee, Newton County Academy; Tiffany Spence, Drew Harrison, Lane Fulton, Cody Strait, Brandon Hughes, Jessica Harrison, Richie Ferguson, Polly Vaughn, Monica Vincent and Brandon Boulton, all of Newton County and Laura Gunn of Lake.
Jonathan Crabtree of Warren Central and Tyler Laird of Newton County serve as sound technicians.
